- Do you install in your part of Scotland?
- Yes. Scotland Solar installs solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and EV chargers in your part of Scotland and across the rest of Scotland, with our team working from our office in Dundee. Call 0141 230 0198 or use the quote form to check your postcode.
- Can I add a battery to my existing solar panels?
- Yes. A home battery can usually be added to an existing solar system, either connected to your current inverter or with a hybrid inverter. During the survey we check your inverter, wiring and space for the battery, then recommend a size that suits how you use electricity.
- Is finance available?
- Finance available, subject to status. Ask about monthly payment options when you call or request a quote, and we will explain what is available for your installation before you decide. There is no obligation to go ahead.
- How do I get a quote?

- Is there VAT on solar panels and batteries in Scotland?
- No. Solar panels and home batteries installed in the UK, including Scotland, are zero-rated for VAT until 31 March 2027. This applies to batteries added to existing solar as well as new systems, and it is already included in our prices.
- What does my written quote include?
- Your quote lists every item, including panels or equipment, installation, scaffolding, electrical work, certificates and any optional extras, with the full price. There is no obligation to go ahead.
