- Can I add a battery to my existing solar panels?
- Yes. A home battery can usually be added to an existing solar system, either connected to your current inverter or with a hybrid inverter. During the survey we check your inverter, wiring and space for the battery, then recommend a size that suits how you use electricity.
- Is finance available?
- Finance available, subject to status. Ask about monthly payment options when you call or request a quote, and we will explain what is available for your installation before you decide. There is no obligation to go ahead.
- How do I get a quote?

- Can you install solar panels and a heat pump together?
- Yes. Solar panels and an air source heat pump can be designed as one system, so daytime solar power helps run the heat pump and heat your hot water. We size both after surveying your home and show the full price of each part on your written quote.
- Is the 0% VAT on solar panels still available in Scotland?
- Yes. Solar panels and home batteries installed in the UK, including Scotland, are zero-rated for VAT until 31 March 2027. The 0% rate is already included in the prices on our written quotes.
- Do solar panels work in the Scottish climate?
- Yes. Solar panels generate electricity from daylight rather than direct sunshine, so they work on cloudy days too, and long summer days in Scotland help. How much your system produces depends on your roof direction, pitch and shading, which we check during the survey.
- Can I get a complete home energy package?
- Yes. We can install solar panels, a battery, a heat pump and an EV charger together, designed so each part works with the others. You can also start with one product and add the rest later.
